Reshaping student success through AI in tertiary education

How are Australia and New Zealand's higher education leaders using AI to improve the student and staff experience and lift everyday operational efficiency?

We commissioned a report to find out.

Most ANZ institutions are investing in AI to resolve student enquiries faster, support at-risk students earlier, and free their people from routine administrative work. Few are yet seeing these gains at scale. This report explores the gap between ambition and everyday impact and what it takes to close it.

Reshaping student success through AI in tertiary education Report

Commissioned by TechnologyOne and independently researched by Forrester, this report surveys more than 300 ANZ higher education leaders on how AI is reshaping the student and staff experience, where operational efficiencies are being realised, and the barriers standing in the way.

The findings draw on responses from university and further education leaders across executive, IT, and student experience functions. They reveal where institutions are progressing on student-centric, efficient operations, where they are stuck, and, most importantly, what the next 12 months and beyond look like for AI in the sector.
