Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LVRC) has locked in a path to enhanced community services for its 45,000 residents, upgrading its IT system to the latest in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) technology.
The on-time on-budget transition to Queensland Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider TechnologyOne’s Connected Intelligence Anywhere (CiA) platform will allow the Council to roll out new capabilities to transform how residents interact with the council.
CiA’s modern user interface streamlines everyday tasks including finance, human resources, project management, and supply chain operations, empowering Lockyer Valley’s 300-strong workforce to focus on what they do best – serving the community.
Ian Church, Chief Executive Officer at Lockyer Valley Regional Council, said: “The transition to CiA is an exciting project for our Council and community as it will bring with it improvements in business processes and workflows, which will in turn improve our efficiency as an organisation.
"In addition, I expect to see improved capability for staff working in the field such that they can enter and access data on location rather than waiting until they have returned to the office. These are just a couple of improvements that will help us an organisation achieve better customer service outcomes."
Phase two of Lockyer Valley’s broad digital transformation will focus on updating TechnologyOne’s Property & Rating (P&R) platform, improving residents’ ability to leverage 24/7 online access to council services.
Ben Malpass, Strategic Advisor for Local Government at TechnologyOne, said: "Lockyer Valley Regional Council’s successful go-live with our CiA platform is a testament to their vision and commitment to modernising their services for the benefit of their community. By embracing a true Software-as-a-Service solution, LVRC is laying the groundwork for more responsive, transparent, and efficient service delivery and enhancing the experience for the community they serve."
