Melbourne Polytechnic has modernised the way it manages critical infrastructure, launching TechnologyOne’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) product to improve visibility, reduce complexity, and deliver better outcomes for students and staff.
Melbourne Polytechnic is one of Victoria’s largest TAFEs, established more than a century ago, delivering vocational and higher education to thousands of students across 7 campuses through more than 170 courses that combine practical learning with real-world experience.
This implementation is part of a broader digital transformation across Victoria’s TAFE network, providing a modern, connected platform for asset planning, maintenance, and compliance through TechnologyOne’s SaaS+ delivery model.
Mark Jones, Executive Vice President, Education at TechnologyOne, said: “Melbourne Polytechnic’s go-live is a powerful example of how TechnologyOne is helping TAFEs modernise and operate more efficiently.”
“TAFEs play a vital role in delivering skills and training that strengthen our communities, and it’s essential they have the digital capability to match that responsibility. EAM delivers measurable value quickly, giving institutions the tools to manage assets strategically, make informed decisions, and plan for future growth.”
“Delivered through our SaaS+ model, this project highlights how technology can create lasting change in education. By simplifying operations and improving visibility, we’re giving institutions the foundation to grow, adapt, and deliver exceptional experiences for students and staff.”
With most Victorian TAFEs already live with TechnologyOne’s Enterprise Asset Management accelerator, Melbourne Polytechnic strengthens the sector’s digital maturity and lays the foundation for future phases, including Project Lifecycle Management and Strategic Asset Management.
EAM provides complete visibility of asset performance and lifecycle costs, enabling smarter, evidence-based investment decisions that drive efficiency and sustainability.
FY25 was a standout year for TechnologyOne’s education business, which achieved a 27% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue and record growth across both the TAFE and higher education sectors.
With SaaS+ as the foundation for future innovation, TechnologyOne continues to partner with education providers across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK to help modernise their operations and support long-term success and financial sustainability.
