Bond University will introduce new digital capabilities and maximise the lifespan of its world-class facilities and state-of-the-art learning resources as part of a five-year deal to extend its near 30-year partnership with homegrown Software as a Service (SaaS) provider TechnologyOne.

The new agreement leverages TechnologyOne’s proven SaaS+ implementation methodology to fast-track the delivery of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) as an extension of Bond’s application portfolio, which includes Finance, Supply Chain and Student Management operations.

Enterprise Asset Management will give Bond greater visibility and control over its campus assets. By centralising performance data across a wide range of capital infrastructure, including lecture theatres, research labs, libraries, sporting facilities, and student accommodation, the University can improve maintenance and upgrade planning — reducing costs, extending asset life, and supporting better student and staff experiences.

The move is part of a broader technology strategy aimed at futureproofing operations modernising and integrating core business and student systems.

In 2024 Bond migrated its Finance, Supply Chain Management and Student Management software from on-premise to TechnologyOne’s SaaS-enabled OneEducation suite, establishing a scalable, flexible and secure foundation to harness the latest advancements in technology and better adapt to evolving student needs.

Bond University Director of Information Technology Services Ann Yardley said, "Implementing an Enterprise Asset Management system will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of managing Bond’s physical assets. This strategic investment will empower Bond to make more informed decisions regarding maintenance, upgrades, and replacements, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. It underscores Bond University’s dedication to being a forward-thinking institution and delivering the best possible experience for our students."

TechnologyOne Executive Vice President of Education David Cope said, “Managing campus plant, equipment and infrastructure plays a huge role in student experience and the long-term sustainability of the institution. We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Bond University as they future-proof operations with seamless, modern and resilient technology infrastructure.”

Leveraging more than 37 years' experience partnering with leading education providers across Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, TechnologyOne's OneEducation, is purpose-built to meet the unique requirements of the higher education sector.
